Price change effective 16 June 2026
TESO has decided to adjust its fares with effect from 16 June 2026. Due in particular to the continuing rise in costs, TESO considers a fare adjustment necessary. The 2025 Consumer Price Index [CPI] from Statistics Netherlands has been used as the basis for the fare adjustment.
The fare change varies by category. Fares for pedestrians (€3.00) and cyclists (€6.00) remain unchanged. Fares for vehicles, for both Texel and non-Texel rates, will be increased by an average of 3.3%. For example, the fare for a return ticket for a passenger car up to 6.5 metres in length, including passengers, is currently €46.50 and will be €48.00 from 16 June. On off-peak days, the current fare is €31.00; this will be €32.00 from 16 June.
Passengers who purchased a ticket before 16 June 2026 can still use this ticket after the fare change. The same applies to passengers with a multi-return ticket.
