From Friday morning 23 May 10 a.m. until Friday morning 30 May 2025 05 a.m., the Kooybrug will be closed to all road traffic in both directions and to shipping with a headway of 8.30 m or more. The seven consecutive days and nights are needed to carry out the final work on the bridge, including the application of a protective layer that will protect the bridge from wear and tear. Traffic should expect severe disruption and considerable extra travel time.
Diversions Kooybrug road traffic
